With the full support of the NTF, the Racehorse Trainers Benevolent Fund (RTBF) has set up a network of knowledgeable and empathetic people to make it easier for trainers to share the burdens of their busy and challenging working life.

The RTBF's aim is for the service to be informal, accessible, confidential and trusted. You can call any of the following people.

The team will be out and about in training centres, on the gallops, at the races and sales. They are there to start a conversation or for you to approach informally for a chat. That may be all it takes to relieve some psychological pressure and help you cope, but if you need additional support, they will know where you can get that help.

Their individual locations help to bring them within reach of a wide distribution of trainers. The service is currently a pilot; if it proves successful and valued, additional providers will be recruited to extend the geographical reach.
