The NTF Legal Expenses Insurance Scheme
In addition to our inhouse legal executive, we also run the NTF legal expenses insurance (LEI) scheme for our members. The LEI scheme is designed to meet the business needs of an NTF member including representation at BHA disciplinary matters and cover for employment disputes, subject to the policy terms being met.

Members are reminded that a condition of the insurance cover is that a claim is reported to the insurers immediately after the NTF member first becomes aware of the circumstances which could give rise to a claim. To report and make a claim, members should call 0330 303 1955 (weekdays 9am - 5pm) or online HERE.

Members who relinquish their licence will have legal expenses cover for matters arising whilst a member provided claims are made within 3 months of relinquishing their licence or the end of the policy year, whichever is shorter, subject to the policy terms and conditions. This only applies to claims made after 1st January 2024.
