NTF Charities

The NTF supports a number of charities and grant making bodies, all of which are for the benefit if trainers, their dependents or their staff.

  • The Racehorse Trainers Benevolent Fund (RTBF) awards grants to current or formerly licensed racehorse trainers and their dependents, in Britain. Grants are awarded for the relief of financial hardship due to exceptional events beyond the control of the applicant. Examples include accident, illness, family breakdown, bereavement, animal disease and environmental factors. Grants may also be awarded to assist with welfare problems where the beneficiary could not afford to pay for that assistance.
